Product Features:
Gen5 Compatibility: The PowerGrade, post-production LUTs, and in-camera LUTs are now fully compatible with Gen5. To use the Gen5 PowerGrades, you will need Resolve 17.2. The in-camera LUTs require Blackmagic Camera Update 7.3.
Updated ARRI LogC to Rec709 LUTs: Includes two new ARRI LogC to Rec709 LUTs, modified for more filmic saturation, allowing for deeper, richer colors while avoiding over-saturation. These LUTs are based on extensive research into film emulation.
GEN5 LUT Versions:
P4K2Alexa_Gen5_LogC LUT: Outputs a LogC image and is fully compatible with any LUT or PowerGrade expecting ARRI LogC as the input. Ideal for matching Alexa footage on the same timeline or sharing looks between cameras without modifications.
P4K2Alexa_Gen5_BMD_Film LUT: Outputs Alexa colors in Gen5 BMD Film log. It doesn’t match LogC Alexa footage but offers the extra highlight range of Gen5, eliminating the need for manual highlight grading. Perfect for those who want Alexa colors without intercutting with Alexa footage.
ARRI_LogC2Video_709 Output LUTs:
Latest Versions: ARRI_LogC2Video_709_V2.cube and ARRI_LogC2Video_709_WDR_V2.cube provide more filmic style saturation, allowing for deeper, richer colors while avoiding over-saturation. Designed to pair with the P4K2Alexa_Gen5_LogC LUT.
Previous Versions Included: Standard, WDR, WDR Highlights, and WDR Roll-Off versions provide a variety of options for different project needs.
BMD_Gen5_Film2Video_709 Output LUTs:
New V2 LUTs: Designed to pair with the P4K2Alexa_Gen5_BMD_Film LUT. Known as BMD_Gen5_Film2Video_709_V2.cube and BMD_Gen5_Film2Video_709_WDR_V2.cube.
In-Camera/On-Set Rec709 LUTs:
High Compatibility: The P4K BMDFilm Gen5 transform combined with the two new V2 Rec709 output LUTs, created at x33 precision for compatibility. Ideal for previewing the transform on the P4K or external monitors.
Gen4 LUTs Included: All Gen4 LUTs are also included for comprehensive editing capabilities.
